"Oh the Sea", Tod's Point, CT, 2024
It was a windy day. I moved the camera while taking the photo, following the direction of the waves. The movement brought out the texture of the water — more layered, more alive. Surprisingly, the clouds remained unaffected, smooth as silk, as if captured in a long exposure.
Originally a part of "Homage to Rothko" series, it now a standalone abstract seascape.
