My work 'Homage to Rothko'(series) received an Honorable Mention in the 'Fine Art' category at the 7th Minimalist Photography Awards.
This is the second time I have won in the Minimalist Photography Awards.
About the work:
This ongoing project draws inspiration from the mesmerizing work of Mark Rothko. Using pure photographic techniques and avoiding editing as much as possible, the series aim to transform seascapes into abstract blocks of color, echoing the simplicity and emotional depth of Rothko's signature style.
