"Far Above Dam", Glen Canyon Dam, AZ, 2019
Glen Canyon Dam, Page, Arizona. The other side is the Lake Powell, one of the largest reservoir in the U.S. In the recent 20 years, because of climate changes, the water level dropped at times to less than 40% of its full scale. The power station of the dam was at the verge of losing capacity to generate electricity. What you saw is a worker operating on a bed of algae at the bottom of the dam, September 2019. Look how small a human is compared to the scale of the structure, yet observe the immense impact humans can make on our environment.
